The Finch Foundation was founded to support hospitalized and injured military veterans and their families by offering assistance for health care and other expenses. The Finch Foundation has applied for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization status. Every day more young men and women of the US Military return home from combat duty with severe injuries. Many of these new veterans have incurred devastating injuries, such as brain trauma, amputations and blindness or are suffering from the psychological wounds of war, such as post-traumatic stress disorder. Many of the wounded require, not just a couple of days, but months and months of rehabilitation. This rehabilitation is physically, mentally and emotionally difficult and it is often financially debilitating for their families. Millions more veterans from previous wars also have been wounded in military service. All of these brave veterans stood up to defend our nation and our freedoms. But far too many of them are not receiving the benefits and care they need and deserve. |
The Finch Foundation was named in honor of Jim & Nola Finch. |
The Finch Foundation created the Patriot Girls Calendar to raise funds for our support programs and to raise the morale of our deployed troops.
$13 from every calendar sold helps us help our veterans. For more info visit: www.patriotgirlscalendar.com
